Our Poznań team came to the University of Szczecin to collect multilingual speech production data. Our team (Magdalena Wrembel, Jarosław Weckwerth, Hanna Kędzierska, Tristan Czarnecki-Verner, Zuzanna Cal, and Kamil Malarski) coordinated data collection for multiple L3 speech production experiments simultaneously. These experiments included our FAR study, which involved the participants to recount stories from their childhoods, as well as two L1-L3 production speech experiments involving plosives and sibilants in Norwegian, English, and Polish. Another data collection session will be conducted at the University of Szczecin next month, focusing more on effects of L2/L3 on speech perception of retroflex consonants.
